The list of confirmed speakers has been updated on the website. Twenty speakers have confirmed their participation in the event, including leading thinkers in the areas of architecture, design, furniture and wood promotion. In addition, forty-two proposals for voluntary papers and posters have been received.
Arrangements have now been finalised for the commerical exhibition that will take place alongside the conference. Exhibition stalls are priced at INR 15,000 or USD 350 and the form to reserve a booth and register for the exhibition is available on the website. The Event Manager (Saltmarch Media) is handling all aspects of registration for the exhibition. Fifty exhibition stalls will be available in the exhibition area adjacent to the conference hall and about a dozen have already been reserved. Confirmed exhibitors will be listed on the website in due course.

Saltmarch Media have been appointed as the event manager for the conference and exhibition. During the next few months, they will take care of the registrations for the exhibition and assist with the processing of payments and registrations for the conference. They are also available to assist participants with travel and accomodation needs. (We are currently arranging discounted room rates with some suitable local hotels). A competition to select photographs and photo-stories for display at the conference was launched today. Photographers are invited to visit the competition webpage and submit their entries by 15 July 2011. Three winners will be sponsored to come and participate in the conference and receive their prize certificates in person on the second day of the conference.
