Commercial exhibition
A commercial exhibition will be held for the three days of the conference and the Saturday after the conference ends (19-22 October 2011). The exhibition will be focused on companies and organisations involved in forestry and the production, use and sale of wood products (including handicrafts). Following the overall theme of this event, companies and organisations specialising in products and/or services containing a high degree of craftsmanship, artistic input and innovation or serving specialised and niche markets are particularly encouraged to participate in the exhibition.
The exhibition will take place in a marquee in the outdoor exhibition area adjacent to the conference auditorium and there will be room for up to fifty 3 x 3 metre booths. The exhibition is not solely a trade exhibition and will be open to the public as well as conference participants on all four days. About 8,000 people are expected to visit the exhibition over the four days and there will be a nominal entry fee for the public.
